Terms and Conditions

By making a booking you are deemed to accept these Booking Terms.

Booking Details

Debit/credit card details are required to secure a booking. The person confirming the booking is responsible for paying all monies due. Cheques are accepted to make a booking but must be paid at least 5 days prior to arrival date. Bookings can only be accepted by persons 18 years and over.

Cancellation

If a booking is cancelled up to 48 hours before arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or no show the first night will be charged. We reserve the right to charge the amount to your debit/credit card.

Payment

We prefer that you pay for your stay on arrival. Payment can be either cash sterling/euros, debit/credit card. Credit cards are subject to a 2% handling fee.

Check in

Check in time is 4.00pm till 10.00 pm unless prior arrangements have been made, you must vacate you room by 10.30 am on the last day of your stay. If you wish to stay in your room after this time you will be charged the full nightly rate unless you have made prior arrangements with us.

Smoking

We are totally non smoking , for your protection all areas are monitored with high sensitive smoke detectors , anyone not obeying these rules will immediately be told to leave the premises with no refund and a further charge will be made of not less than £100, this may be taken from your debit/credit card without any further notification . Smoking is permitted on the front terrace an ash tray is provided.

Damages

We expect all guest to take responsible care to avoid damage to our property . We reserve the right to charge to you debit/ credit card for any damage caused to our property.

Soiling a mattress will incur a standard charge of £150, to cover disposing of the soiled mattress and purchasing a new mattress.

Rutland Guest House meets all fire regulations set in accordance with the East Sussex fire and rescue service.

All electrical equipment on these premises have been fully tested we can not responsible for any electrical equipment you bring in and use.

We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone not behaving in a civilized manner.

These Condition apply to all persons booking direct or through a third party .
